Sterownik głośnika jest silnikiem
Daniel Hertz is an engineering company dedicated to maximum performance and minimalist design. Reproducing music without compromise is like building an F1 car – the foundation is the math. Anton uses a high-performance 15” coaxial driver with specifications and performance beyond any other speaker available (short of the DH M1 Delta, which costs ten times more).
This driver moves more air faster and cleaner, providing astonishing acceleration, efficiency, power handling, deep bass extension, and pinpoint imaging. The DH in-house designed crossover achieves linear response across the entire audio band. The cabinet features carefully engineered dimensions, high-mass wood with internal bracing, and precise tuning. Consequently, the enclosure and driver operate as a single, highly controlled system.
Like a 1200-HP V12 motor, Anton’s 15” coaxial driver delivers performance you can’t get any other way.
Tytanowe wykończenie
Anton comes with a new Italian dark-grey titanium finish. This surface is modern and fresh—matte rather than glossy—but still full of life like real metal. The dark-grey tone complements most interiors.
Furthermore, Anton’s titanium finish and overall appearance reflect the no-nonsense purpose of this speaker: to deliver maximum performance with natural sound, wide dynamic range, and deep bass in a minimalist, elegant design.
Designer options, including wood sides and other colors, are available at additional cost.

Power Requirements
Fifty watts of power through Anton produce an SPL of 118 dB—output that would require 800 W with a typical speaker rated at 87 dB efficiency. However, even if an amplifier could output 800 W, most high-end speakers cannot handle it.
Not all music demands such dynamic range; however, true no-compromise reproduction across all genres requires it. As a result, Anton sets you free with unprecedented dynamic-range capability.
High Efficiency Means You Hear More
As a professional musician and acclaimed recording and mastering engineer, Mark Levinson has spent fifty years advancing music reproduction. With Anton, he brings high-performance sound within reach of more people.
There are two things you can do with electrical energy: turn it into sound or heat. The lower the efficiency of a speaker, the more of the recording becomes heat and disappears. Thanks to an efficiency of 99.5 dB, Anton lets you hear more of the recording than most high-end speakers. Moreover, transient detail and spatial cues remain intact. In contrast, efficiency ratings that claim 90 dB or higher are often measured at 4 Ω, not 8 Ω. Subtract 3 dB to compare fairly. Typically, speakers range between 82–89 dB.

Made in Italy
Every part of Anton comes handcrafted in Italy—from the 15″ coaxial driver and cabinet to the crossover, rear panel, and speaker connectors. — from the 15″ coaxial driver and cabinet to the crossover, rear panel, and speaker connectors.
Small family-owned companies in the region specialize in low-volume, high-quality production. The Daniel Hertz team in Venice (Marghera) takes pride in their work and builds each product as if it were for their own use.
Some of the finest string instruments in history were crafted here in the 17th and 18th centuries by great masters. Many survive today and continue to be played by musicians who treasure them. Mark Levinson chose this region to build Daniel Hertz products, inspired by those artisans who built to a standard—not a price.
Długoterminowa satysfakcja i duma z posiadania
Osobiście zaprojektowany przez Marka Levinsona, Anton został zbudowany, aby zapewnić długotrwałą satysfakcję dla więcej niż jednego pokolenia miłośników muzyki. Najwyższej jakości materiały, najbardziej wymagające specyfikacje, precyzyjnie zaprojektowane części, rzemieślnicze rzemiosło, dbałość o szczegóły i rozsądna cena sprawiają, że Anton jest wysoce pożądanym głośnikiem dla najbardziej wymagających miłośników muzyki.
Historia Antona
What Is Anton?
Anton is a game-changing speaker. Like Daniel Hertz C-Wave, Mighty Cat, and the Maria amplifier, it raises the bar for music reproduction.
Anton offers a combination of qualities never available before in one design:
High efficiency of 99.5 dB
Powerful deep bass from a 15″ pro-audio subwoofer (–3 dB @ 27 Hz in a normal room)
118 dB SPL (stereo) with a Maria 350 amplifier, 30 Hz–20 kHz
Point-source imaging from a pro-audio coaxial studio monitor
Smooth, extended response to 20 kHz
Midrange transparency comparable to electrostatics
Works with a two-channel amplifier (no bi-amping required)
Front port for wall-friendly placement
Pricing similar to many low-efficiency speakers
What Makes This Possible?
Anton is built around a new high-performance 15″ coaxial driver.
The DH-designed cabinet provides the internal volume, bracing, and porting to unleash its full potential.
The Mighty Cat software suite in DH electronics includes unique speaker-tuning tools. Through fully programmable signal flow and layered EQ, engineers achieve extremely smooth response with no coloration—something passive crossovers or typical active filters cannot do.
Anton’s 99.5 dB efficiency ensures more electrical energy becomes sound rather than heat.

Amplification & System Integration

Maria 350
The Bi-amplified Anton with Maria 350 system is engineered as a seamless match between loudspeaker and amplifier.
Maria 350 provides the transparency, speed, and dynamic control required to unlock Anton’s full potential. In addition, its regulated power supplies, active crossovers, and C-Wave technology ensure lifelike coherence and musicality across the entire frequency range.
Active Design for Ultimate Clarity
Unlike conventional systems that rely on passive crossovers, the Maria 350 drives each driver section of Anton directly, using precisely calibrated active crossovers and time alignment. As a result, the system achieves extraordinary clarity, pinpoint imaging, and effortless power — even at concert levels.
Flexible Integration and Upgrade Path
For those beginning with a different setup, Daniel Hertz offers a compact electronic tuning interface that connects Anton with third-party preamplifiers and power amplifiers. This way, Anton integrates easily with nearly any existing system. The interface can later be traded in toward the purchase of a Maria amplifier, ensuring a clear and natural upgrade path.
Amplifier Synergy and Acoustic Tuning
Anton’s 15″ coaxial architecture delivers exceptional efficiency (99.5 dB, 8 Ω), so the amplifier drives it easily, yet only the Maria 350 shows its full capability.
Maria’s C-Wave™ technology and embedded speaker-tuning software directly solve the design challenges of large coaxial transducers. They deliver perfect time alignment, smooth linear response, and astonishing realism.
Although almost any high-quality amplifier—even low-power tube designs—can drive Anton, the Maria 350 provides the definitive match. It combines speed, micro-detail, dynamic range, and an inaudible noise floor in a single integrated reference system.
